Alexandre Tannous
Sound Meditation
Alexandre Tannous is an ethnomusicologist, sound therapist, and passionate researcher of the power of sound to transform consciousness. He is also the founder of ResonantMind Collective , a community exploring the depths of sound as a means of expansion and healing.
Her academic background is as solid as her artistic sensibility: she holds a bachelor's degree in music, with a double major in music theory and composition, and a master's degree in music education from Teachers College, Columbia University . But her true education has been direct experience and her tireless curiosity to understand the invisible.
For over 25 years, he has researched the therapeutic, spiritual, and esoteric properties of sound, approaching them from three rarely intersecting perspectives: Western science, Eastern philosophy, and shamanic worldviews. This intersection has led him to a fascinating territory, where art, spirituality, neuroscience, and ancestral tradition intertwine in profound and revealing ways.
The fruit of this search was his Sound Meditation protocol, a carefully designed sound experience designed to help us emerge from mental automatisms and enter expanded states of perception. It's not just about listening, but about opening oneself completely to an attentive presence, where each sound—from traditional instruments he masterfully plays—becomes a portal to inner silence.
Today, Alexandre is considered one of the most influential teachers in his field. His rigorous yet sensitive approach has touched the lives of thousands of people around the world. In collaboration with Imrama-Ra , he has helped expand this mission in Mexico, raising awareness and paving the way for a new way of listening... and of inhabiting one's own existence.
